Expert emission repair specialists are on board, and the mechanical side lists comprehensive engine maintenance and repairs and advanced suspension and brake services. How the shop works the ticket
Diagnosis starts with computerized diagnostics. Plugging in gives a technician a diagnostic trouble code, which points to a general area the trouble came from and a place to start rather than the exact fault. From there, the technician physically and visually examines that area to find the actual problem, which is why a code alone rarely tells the whole story.
Estimates are free and same day, so you're not left guessing what a repair will cost before you agree to it. Massachusetts law allows the actual bill to vary up to $50 from that estimate for incidentals, and if a repair is going to run more than $50 over, every attempt is made to contact you before the extra work goes ahead.

What backs the work
The shop offers two-year warranties on most repairs and 24,000-mile parts and labor warranties. The technicians doing the work are ASE master technicians, and the shop is NATEF-certified. It's been family-owned on Chestnut Street since 1979.
You also don't have to come back here, or to a dealer, to keep a manufacturer's warranty valid. Under the Magnuson-Moss Act of 1975, a new car dealer can't deny warranty service or imply it's voided just because maintenance or repairs were done somewhere else. New car owner manuals confirm the same thing for maintenance, replacement or repair of emission control devices.
